A seminar was held between  US Delegation for US-China Eminent Persons Forum and CITIC Foundation for Reform and Development Studies on September 18th.

 

Starting from the topics of "trade barriers and tariffs", " science and technology development and protection", "investment" and "finance", both sides held in-depth discussions on "how to revive economic cooperation to serve as a stabilizer for better bilateral relations" and exchanged views frankly. Both sides agreed that dialogues and negotiations should be maintained in the event of a crisis in strategic mutual trust between China and the United States.

The Seminar was chaired by Mr. Kong Dan, President of CITIC Foundation for Reform and Development Studies, Former Chairman of CITIC Group.
