ADMINISTRATION MANAGER (Location: Shanghai)

 

Job description

 

  • Develop personal network and build trusted and strategic relationships with relevant decision-makers e.g. in government, politics, industry associations and other institutions,

  • Understand stakeholders and political decision-makers’ specific needs and identify partnering opportunities

  • Analyze and process policy issues for strategic decision making

  • Influence stakeholders to consider issues, develop national, regional and international network

  • Research, develop, plan, design, maintain and implement policies, programs and events that enhance the organization’s relations with the government and relevant industry associations

Qualifications

 

  • Proficient in both English and Mandarin Chinese.

  • Deep understanding of the China’s political system and environment

  • Established network among stakeholders and political decision-makers

  • Understanding of government affairs tools and instruments

  • Engaging personality able to develop sustainable relationships with relevant stakeholders

  • Team player with demonstrated ability to coordinate complex projects and to work effectively in a matrix organization

  • Develops solutions to problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation as well as analytical and strategic thinking

  • Fluent language skills in English and relevant language used in county

  • Superior written and verbal communications skills, including strong presentation skills

  • Ability to work independently with demonstrated self-initiation

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

INTERNSHIPS (Location : Shanghai/Hangzhou)

Job description

  • Administrative assistance for public events and programs

  • Tracking the U.S and China dynamics and news events

  • Archiving materials and using it for communication purposes.

  • Translating materials and correspondence (English - Chinese).

  • Coordinating with different parties involved in the programs.

  • Drafting reports and collecting relevant information

Qualifications

  • Good command of spoken and written Mandarin and English

  • Basic knowledge in US-China relationship

  • Interest in politics and international relations

  • Detail-oriented,attention to details

  • Excellent research, writing, interpersonal skills

  • Relevant experience in project management and report writing.

  • Proficient in desktop research and in using Office software.

  • Project management and organizational skills , proven track record in event management
